Implant Direct is based in Calabasas, California. Its 40,000-square foot factory was built in 1994 and retained by Dr. Gerald Niznick after he sold his previous dental implant company to Sulzer Medica (later acquired by Zimmer) in 2001. At Implant Direct, we have developed a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility that is both technologically advanced and cost efficient. Unlike our competitors, we are not delayed by constantly setting up and tearing down machines, and our people have the highest levels of training by today’s standards.

One of the main reasons why we can pass along a tremendous cost savings to dental practitioners worldwide is our ability to control overhead. We have established a seamless process by maintaining a tight labor force, configuring our machines to operate only a family of parts (rather than individually), and using the most sophisticated technology in machining.
