To Learn About Becoming A RealChoice Implant Center

27 years of History

In 1982, Dr. Gerald Niznick, a lifetime member of the ACP, published a 40 page article on the Core-Vent System, documenting the first use of osseointegrated implants functioning free-standing to retain a lower overdenture. The article also broke new ground documenting numerous cases of immediate placement of implants in extraction sockets with abutments added for bar overdenture restorations.

In 2009, at the ACP meeting in San Diego, Dr. Niznick's Implant Direct Company will launch the GoDirect 1-piece implant with a Locator(TM) compatible platform adding to his Spectra-System line that already includes the 1-Piece ScrewIndirect implant designed for screw-retained bar overdentures and fixed-detachable restorations.

Every Prosthodontist placing implants will want to add these cost effective, time-saving implant options to his or her practice.

Legacy Implant System

Twenty-Three years after Dr. Niznick introduced the internal conical connection with an internal hex (the most copied connection in the implant industry today), Implant Direct is evolving the concept to new heights with the launch of the
Legacy 1, 2 and 3 system.

Legacy 1: Features a tapered body allowing for insertion using Tapered Screw-VentTM drills, double-lead "V" threads for 2x faster insertion, quadruple lead threads near the top and two self-tapping grooves extending half way up the implant.

Legacy 2: Straight body for top 1/3 with bottom 2/3rds tapered for bone expansion, double-lead buttress threads for improved insertion, quadruple lead threads near the top and three aggressive self-tapping grooves extending 2/3rds length up the implant.

Legacy 3: Tapered body compatible with Tapered Screw-VentTM drills, double-lead buttress threads for improved insertion, color coded carrier usable as a closed-tray transfer and/or final full-contour abutment and two self-tapping grooves extending half way up the implant
