I am pleased to announce the signing of an agreement that will result in the merger of Implant Direct, Sybron Implant Solutions
and Attachments International. The merger, which must obtain regulatory approval before completion, will combine the businesses of
these three companies into one new company to be named Implant Direct Sybron Int'l. The combination of Implant Direct's intuitive online
ordering system and 3D graphic instructional videos, along with each company's knowledgeable, dedicated sales and technical support staff,
will create an organization that is able to provide its customers with a level of service and support unsurpassed in the dental implant industry.
Implant Direct has built its business by offering a broad line of innovative dental implant products at unprecedented low prices.
We have not raised our prices in the last four years and we have no intention for the combined company, post-closing,
to do otherwise in the foreseeable future.
Sybron Dental Specialties, a global dental consumable corporation headquartered in Orange, California, owns leading brands including
Kerr (consumables), Ormco (orthodontics) and SybronEndo (endodontics). Sybron's parent company also owns the well known dental equipment
brands Kavo (hand pieces), Pelton & Crane (dental units) and Imaging Sciences (iCAT CBCT machines).
This merger should be seamless for Implant Direct customers as our global team remains intact. Our phone numbers and online shopping
cart will also remain the same. The merger will allow Implant Direct to offer its customers tissue-regeneration products currently sold
by Sybron Implant Solutions and prosthetic components sold by Attachments International. The merger will also allow Implant Direct,
starting January 2011, to offer a new implant guarantee program. Details of this program will be available online once the transaction closes.
