The Complete Toolkit for Surgical Predictability
Achieving predictable surgical outcomes—from Guided Bone Regeneration (GBR) to soft tissue management—requires a comprehensive suite of high-performance biomaterials. Implant Direct offers a full line of integrated solutions designed for precision, confidence, and reliable healing in the early stages of implantology.
Our portfolio combines the proven performance of the DirectGen™ graft family, advanced Cytoplast™ membranes and sutures, and easy-to-use wound care products, all developed to simplify your clinical workflow and enhance patient recovery.
The Four Pillars of Predictable Regeneration
We understand that successful implant placement depends on superior tissue management. Our biomaterials are categorized into four critical areas to give you full control over the regenerative process.

Primary Function
Featured Products
Key Clinical Benefit
Hard Tissue Augmentation & Volume Maintenance
Predictable Bone Formation with osteoconductive and verified osteoinductivity properties.
Guided Tissue/Bone Regeneration (GTR/GBR)
Effective Barrier Function to prevent epithelial ingrowth and ensure sustained space maintenance.
Secure Flap Closure & Primary Intention Healing
Effective Barrier Function to prevent epithelial ingrowth and ensure sustained space maintenance.
Post-Extraction Management
Optimal Soft Tissue Management with non-wicking materials for reduced infection risk and patient comfort.
1. Bone Grafting Products: Hard Tissue Solutions
Our bone graft line is built on a legacy of trust, providing versatile options for volume maintenance and true bone creation.
- DirectGen™ Allografts: A comprehensive family of allograft solutions, including Demineralized Cortical (DFDBA) for maximized osteoinduction and DBM Putty.
- DirectOss™ Xenograft: A highly purified, bovine-derived material optimized for slow resorption and long-term space maintenance in procedures like sinus lifts
- OsteoPlug: A combination of synthetic graft particulate and collagen to provide an easy to use solution for socket grafting procedures.
2. Dental Membranes: Guided Regeneration Barriers
Choosing the correct barrier membrane is critical for GBR success, as it must prevent epithelial and connective tissue ingrowth into the defect space
- Cytoplast™ Non-Resorbable Membranes: High-density PTFE membranes that create an impervious barrier to bacteria and are often used in open techniques where exposure is anticipated. Titanium-reinforced options are also available to provide the tenting required for space maintenance over large defects
- Kontour™ Resorbable Membranes: A line of highly purified collagen membranes engineered for predictable degradation rates (e.g., 3-4 or 4-6 months) and excellent handling characteristics to conform precisely to the defect site.
3. Dental Sutures: Optimized Soft Tissue Closure
Secure and atraumatic flap closure is paramount for primary intention healing, especially over grafted sites.
- Cytoplast™ PTFE Non-Resorbable Sutures: The gold standard for many grafting procedures, these are made from soft, non-resorbable monofilament PTFE. The smooth, non-wicking surface is biologically inert, which minimizes tissue reaction and helps reduce the risk of bacterial infiltration into the surgical site.
- Vilet™ Resorbable Sutures: They are designed to degregate with minimal inflammatory interaction through hydrolysis.
- X-Gut™ Resorbable Sutures: Crafted from natural monofilament chromic gut, these sutures feature a purified collagen structure treated to maintain predictable tensile strength for 14–21 days while absorbing smoothly to minimize tissue reaction in wet oral environments.
4. Collagen Wound Care: Post-Operative Management
Our collagen-based wound care products are designed to effectively manage the soft tissue aspects of surgical sites, promoting clot stabilization and healing.
Quality and Manufacturing Assurance
Implant Direct's commitment to clinical excellence is backed by stringent quality control:
- All allograft materials are processed using validated techniques (such as BioRinse™ for DirectGen™ FLEX) and are subjected to gamma irradiation, ensuring a Sterility Assurance Level (SAL).
- Our biomaterials meet or exceed the rigorous standards of the FDA and the Association for Advancing Tissue and Biologics.
