The OsteoPlug is made of a combination of synthetic graft particulate and collagen to provide structure for socket preservation and to assist with the wound healing process. The mineral structure is similar to natural anorganic bone which mimics natural bone as shown in vivo resorption and remodeling profiles; and the collagen allows for blood absorption and delivery of the particulate. The OsteoPlug is designed to improve procedural efficiency with no hydration needed before placement, the collagen holds graft particles in place for easy delivery to the site and membrane is not required (if primary closure is achieved). The bone graft plus is offered in two sizes 10x20mm and 6x25mm with 5 plugs/box.
